NYRangers92
Proposed Eifert+Cruz for Delanie Walker+AJ Green. Seems like a low-ball effort at face value, but deeper it is teammate for teammate and injured player (Cruz back week 4 maybe) for injured player (Walker has an injured hand, status is iffy). Plus Walker is his only TE and Eifert is way better than anyone available on the waiver wire.
Cash or Czech
Is anyone doing a survival pool? There's not many obvious choices this week.
Cash or Czech
Ended up offering Eifert and Andre Johnson for Randall Cobb and Greg Olsen. I think that's a pretty fair deal.

New Orleans or Miami....Obviously not a guarantee but this would be the best week to take Miami the rest of the year.
NYRangers92
I feel like the Rams over Washington is a good pick. Unless thats one of the obvious choices you mentioned haha

I took Miami week 1, probably doing New Orleans this week. Only other reasonable picks I saw were Baltimore or Arizona.
NYRangers92
I'm not too familiar with survival. Why is Rams over Washington not reasonable? Can you only pick one opponent to lose (meaning you wouldnt be able to pick another team against Washington)?

Can you only pick one opponent to lose (meaning you wouldnt be able to pick another team against Washington)? You pick one team to win each week. Last week I took Miami over Washington. St. Louis would be a good pick, but I have a personal preference not to pick against the same team two weeks in a row. Plus I think New Orleans is more of a sure thing and the winner of the pool gets a few thousand so I wanna be safe :D
Cash or Czech
149 of 179 entries have been eliminated this week, almost entirely because of the Saints, Ravens, Dolphins and Rams. Another 7 if Indy can't win tonight. Wow. Buyback is twice the initial price, not sure if I'm going to get back in or not.
Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr
I picked New Orleans in my suicide pool. :(
Blue Heaven
We went from 92 to like 12 and 64 to 7 in another, AND im out in both b/c of New Orleans and Miami.
BlairBettsBlocksEverything
Needed Gore and Mocrief to not combine for 32 points. Just barely held on for the win but I will take it. They said I was stupid for not taking an RB in the first two rounds. I think I'm happier with Antonio Brown and Julio Jones (JJ And Megatron in the other) than I would have been with AB and CJ f'n Anderson 2-0 in two leagues. Liking this season so far. Patrick Bateman
I went super untraditional in my main league (we're allowed to flex QBs) but it's paying off so far. I'm 2-0 and had the most points this week, & the second most last week http://imgur.com/rzcM4V8
BlairBettsBlocksEverything
that's an interesting scoring system. Typically I wait on QBs since the drop off between QB tiers isn't as big, but allowing one in the flex totally changes things I think the "Have to take an RB early" trend is starting to die out. A lot of teams are attacking through the air, and RBBC is becoming more prevalent. Aside from maybe the top couple of guys, not a ton of 3 down backs left, and those 3 down backs tend to carry an injury risk. I have top priority in one league. I typically like to save my priority just in case i get in a situation, but I think I'm using it for Matt Jones. Could use an RB anyway with Ivory looking like injuries could potentially be an issue, and with Gore being a disappointment (benched him this week). still have Ingram and Woodhead but hopefully Jones is a breakout guy I can use
NYRangers92
Eddie Lacy is iffy for next week and it sucks that hes playing on Monday so its not certain that he will play or not until after everyone else does. I guess I shouldve picked up James Starks but I dont know why but felt like picking up Dion Lewis instead. Dropped Doug Martin
BlairBettsBlocksEverything
if you can grab someone who is also playing in that game, do it and use lacy in the flex. Not worth leaving a player like him on the bench if he plays
Patrick Bateman
I pretty much just took who I thought was the best available at that current spot. QBs have a lower value above replacement, but the top ones perform more consistently then top players at other spots

Anyways, should I go with Brady against the Pats or Roethlisberger against the Rams?
BlairBettsBlocksEverything
ah, interesting. well maybe in that case, especially if you have good backup options, I'd just bench him. No reason to risk putting up a goose egg. Maybe things will clear up by friday-saturday but if nothing changes by gametime sunday, I'd use a different option
NYRangers92
if nothing changes by Sunday I'm gonna have to go with Lewis-Randle or Stewart-Randle. I hate starting too many guys from the same team because its boom or bust, so if I start Lewis and Brady I'll have 3 Patriots in the lineup
BlairBettsBlocksEverything
maybe see if someone for sunday night is available, that way you have as much time as possible to make a decision. sucks that there's no flex. really limits what you can do in this situation
NYRangers92
it's PPR so that does make Lewis valuable
Cash or Czech
I have to start two of: Jeremy Maclin Andre Johnson Brandon Coleman Nelson Agholor Gotta pick one other after Maclin, as he's the best of the group. FAs include Terrance Williams, Tyler Lockett, Percy Harvin and Rishard Matthews (I already have Landry). I also don't want to trade Eifert until after Gronk's Week 4 bye. NYRangers92
I'd go Johnson. Agholor is on a team that couldnt score in a brothel and Coleman is attached an injured QB.
NYRangers92
Just got a trade proposal, Roethlisberger for Jeffery. I dont want to consider this right away since I would have no QB for week 4 and would prefer to not use the waiver wire. If Cutler eventually gets healthy (and Jeffery too) could be good for me.
