A clinic. An absolute clinic they put on. Defensively we were outstanding all night. And man, Igor had a freakishly good night. And against an awesome offensive team. Outstanding game.

Don’t get me wrong, It was a real good win but wasn’t a clinic.

It only took a couple of games to completely forget about Blake Wheeler.

I have had a long ass day but it screams volumes that my reaction to this was "when the fuck was he a Rang...oh right"

That 3rd period was. It wasn’t completely without its warts. But that was about as good as a team can play defensively for 20 minutes up a goal against a team as loaded as Dallas. They’re gonna get their looks no matter what you do. The objective is to limit the chances and rely on your goalie. And they did that.

That was about as good as a team can play up a goal against that Dallas team. Everything was up ice. They skated all night and definitely earned those 2 points tonight. Very impressive game.

I thought it was going to count. lol They should've looked at it. Haha.

I was curious so I went back & stopped the recording and the puck crossed the line at .2 seconds. It was definitely a goal.

Really? Wow. I knew it was extremely close. I wonder if they'd look at it after the fact. It wouldn't be the first time, but I doubt it.

Kakko has been so good with Cuylle and Brodzinski. Maybe the key was to get players that facilitate him and not the other way around? Whatever it is, probably playing his best hockey ever right now.

Well spoken. He's The Man on that line and he gets to create for himself and his mates. He doesn't have to please Zib or Bread. He gets to do the job the way he wants and that is potentially gold for the Rangers.

Here we go...Eight in a row!!!

Simply a sensational game by Igor tonight.  The stops he made in this one were at times "other-worldly".  Don't look now but he may be heating up just at the right time.

My boy Kakko nets a bullet, for what turned out to be the game winner.  That kid is tough to get the damn puck away from, and at a recently turned 23, I see big things headed his way in the playoffs!

Here are the Top 8 nominees for tonight's “Ozzy Quote of the GDT”, sponsored by Dick Van Patten...because 8 isn't enough!

If y’all are gonna shit on Miller most games you also gotta give him credit when he does what he just did too.

K' Andre had one of his best games as a Ranger tonight.  He and Kakko made some defensive plays that made a difference.  Kakko's snipe was sweet as pie, but what I really took to was the "Twin Towers line" just ramming players into those back boards.  I really thought Rempe was gonna go right through them a couple of times.

The winning quote for tonight’s GDT goes to @mbob!  I almost couldn't bear to look when Lindy lost his blade.  The guy even dropped down to block that shot with reckless abandon....fishbowl and all!  ...Guy's a warrior!

Let's get #9 against those prick Devils!!

Agree Ozman, Miller was excellent tonight, that hustle back on d and pass interception was impressive.  Kakko’s D was also outstanding in addition to his goal, they’ve both been solid for this entire streak. And speaking of defense, how pesky was Bread!  Dude was like a ninja stealing the puck tonight.

Pumped up from this one!

I think Miller has been really good for two or three weeks now. Not much in the way of points on offense, but very involved every where. Also, what can you say about Lindgren? Perhaps one of his best games of the season playing with essentially one eye. Boss.

A big win in a game a lot of us thought may have been a "trap" game.  Gutty team effort on all fronts tonight.  I feel really good about this one!

Love to see kakko take that shot. Kid has a great shot he never uses, that is a snipe

If that goal doesn't give him confidence to shoot more, I don't know what will. He's been relentless away from the puck as well, basically going on all cylinders right now.

Igor had about as good a game as he played all season. If he's himself, this team can beat anyone in a 7 game series.

What is himself though?  One can argue that last night was him being himself.  Either way, they can’t be giving up 40+ shots like the last 2 games.

A nail biter at the end, but what a fun game to watch. One of the more complete games I've seen from them this season, though if we could cut down on the shots allowed that would be great. And not to harp on it, but once again that 3rd line *chefs kiss*.

If that is how they plan to play the rest of the year, Drury should keep all his draft picks and just let them go into the playoffs as is.  Bring up some depth from Hartford in case of injuries and let the boys play.  The team chemistry is just right at this point with the 2 big boys on the 4th line and everyone feeding off their energy.

You're so right but that is so not Ranger style.

I expect them to make a couple of moves that will slow this wrecking ball down and go back to trying to find chemistry. There is nothing to upgrade when you look like they did last night.
