Between Ferraro rooting against the Rangers, and McDonagh wearing his Bruins Bobby Orr underoos 24/7, this is the worst announcing crew right now. Messier must want to punch his way out. At least last year he had Chelios sneaking him cold ones under the desk. -

"Mike Sullivan is screaming at the refs"; You don't say, Ray. And this is different from any other game the Pens have played since Crosby got there, how exactly? If you had a ball or 2, might discuss as a member of the media how the Pens, Boy Gary's favorite team, have been the whiniest collection douche in the NHL since the day they got Crosby. -

"He’s a pretty important player. He should be a perennial Selke candidate every single year. He does everything for us. So, yeah, if he's not going over the wall almost every other shift, we miss him. And I love him, dearly. He doesn't call, he doesn't write, I'M NOT GONNA BE ...IGNORED, MIKA!" - Chris Kreider on Mika Zibanejad -

No idea if the official stat differed from TB's scoreboard staff. They had it like 30 to 18.No matter; Bolts were much more impactful and forceful in the last half of the game. But in fairness not a surprise a team playing a mess of games in a tight window facing a well-rested team at home is gonna fade a bit. Add in Mike and Lindgren going off. You could feel the momentum shift. -

Bolts were very comfy cozy in NYR's zone over the last 40 minutes. Again, Miller has been playing well until last night. At least s per the scoreboard, Bolts had way more hits. Does Trouba make up for the air going out of the tires when Mika and Lindrgen go missing for stretches last night? It's a tired Ranger team, but may be. Jones hasn't looked out of place. But he isn't Trouba. -

Was at the game. never showed a replay on Cullye's penalty. At 1st blush looked like a BS call to make in a tied game. Was a bit bizarre one of the refs was working his 1000th game and both teams him a signed jersey with 1000 on it during the pregame. Jones looked OK; Brodzinski and Miller, well, not so much. In fairness Brod has been out for a few games and Miller looked great last game. Lots of talk before this game how Trouba being out is no big deal and Rempe is a circus act. Guess again on both. Need to have some bite. Felt like the Bolts got very comfortable in the offensive zone in a 3rd period. Schedule maker is a real bastard. Pretty much playing this Saturday/Sunday and then a game every other day. Ryan Lindrgren was attacked by a grizzly bear and then struck by a semi on I95, expected to play vs. Pens. Tampa does a great job putting on a game. Haven't been to many arenas, but ones of I have been to, only Vegas is better. -

State of the Union: Rangers Edition (Post Trade Deadline)

Drury is putting his faith in Zib and Kreider to be what they're being paid to be once the playoffs start. Panarin has been everything you could hope for this season, and along with Trocheck will probably continue that in the playoffs. But this team will rise or fall depending on 20 and 93. Keep in mind; 2 years running this team went out in the playoffs blowing 2-0 series leads. The numbers on that are ridiculous; to do it twice back to back, off the charts. Drury has to think he has a coach in Laviolette that can fix that this spring. -

Know for a fact; Zegras is a hard worker who doesn't hesitate to call out nonhackers. He's a local kid too; suspect he would love being here. For that, I'm dealing Othmann and a 1 and not looking back. It brings up the talent level.
