I remember tons of discussions how rangers might chose c instead of winger. Now looking back, should drury have traded 1st overall for a second? With Panarin and Kreider in hand drafting a LW was asking for trouble and trouble we got. Should the Rangers have let the pick go for immediate help? Probably. We weren't at the beginning of a rebuild we were in compete now mode and given everything else taking Laf was like being in have your cake and eat it too mode.
