Especially if you're close with your family at all. We take for granted a lot of it, too. Think about the people coming over from other countries to go to school here, for example, who are literally hundreds or thousands of miles away. Gotta be really tough. Doesnt pay for me to go home this week, come back to Pitt for a week for the week of classes we have before finals, then come home again. I would feel less awful if I had Thanksgiving last year, but I was in London (no regrets), so I havent had Thanksgiving at home since '11.
