We come out of the gate like shit, and give these fucking hacks a 3-0 lead? It looked like we were going to tie this thing up, but they actually had 35 blocks!! That's crazy!! I think Trouba still has to get his act together, and fast. He hasn't even hit anyone since his return! I thought he was Wheeler out there....only SLOWER! ...and here are the Top 17 nominees for tonight's “Ozzy Quote of the GDT”, sponsored by UBS Arena, where all 3 Islander fans in attendance could be heard over the air, screaming all night on the broadcast. Just a bunch of bad bounces yet again. I'm really curious to see how many times we've hit the post this season; I'm sure we have to lead the league! Even though it sounds Butch Goring-ish, but holy fuck balls!! The officiating seems just so inconsistent! Sam almost calling Igor "Alexandar" floored me! Seriously, I love Sam! He's such a doofus...simply classic stuff! Our winning quote for tonight’s GDT goes to @siddious Pete, who upon returning, notches his 7th victory of the year! They had 35 blocks because their entire team was playing in the crease. It was like shooting through a forest. If they had opened it up, and played to win, instead of not to lose, Rangers would have scored at least 1 more. Probably would have won it in regulation. If they start the same way on Saturday, Isle's will play the same way. I don't understand how the Isle's and Devils play the Rangers like their life depended on it (no matter their record), and the Rangers usually have a hard time showing up.

Because this season the other two teams lives have depended on it, and the Rangers hasn't. But, now there's bad blood between the Rangers and both of these teams where there wasn't really in seasons past. The rivalry is back and I believe we'll see a different team on Saturday. They rarely lose to the same team twice. 1

The pp was hot but so was their goalie. Not going to win many games going down 3-0. They made a game of it but came up short. I would expect better Saturday. I won't take anybody for granted in the playoffs.

Now, hopefully they're pissed, and Saturday should be a good game to watch.
Valriera
Love to see the passion at the end there even in a basically meaningless game standings wise. From Laf too. You’re first in the league and you’re losing a close one to a desperate team and you get taken advantage of. Fuck yeah have a go at the referee. All for it. Shows you give a shit which is more than I can say about the team from years prior. Love it.

They rarely lose to the same team twice. How rare, might you ask? The Rangers have only been beaten more than 1x against 5 teams this season. And of those teams, only CBJ, WSH, VGK and FLA have beaten us twice in regulation. I hate looking past teams. I really do. But given Philadelphia’s tailspin and their recent history against the Rangers (9 losses in last 10 games), if the Rangers do what they need to do tomorrow night, you are set up, statistically, well going into Saturday because history dictates the Rangers don’t get fooled twice by the same team. Especially in such short succession.
Sharpshooter
I wouldn't doubt it either, but they also may rest some guys, give certain people less ice time. I don't know. I guess it depends how much they want the President's Trophy. The number one seed is more important to me anyway. But, they've been remarkably consistent and resilient all season long. Quite frankly I haven't really seen anything like this from the Rangers in a very long time.
