[RS] (#55) Rangers @ New York Islanders — the One With the Big Ass Jersey Numbers

You can blame 31 on goal 2 because he was not ready. Bad habit he has of standing upright for way too long. Smart, Quick shot against him.

The other 2 goals not on him.  They have been leaving guys wide open the entire first period.

And please trade Miller during the intermission. Guy is awful. Or put him on the flippin wing finally.

Panarin, Kreider, Zibanejad annd Fox totally invisible.  Can’t have your 4 best players do absolutely nothing especially when you can’t cover anyone in the defensive zone.

I only Kreider's name mentioned, and then only once.  Unacceptable for them to not show up.

One goal is on Shesterkin.  Bad defense on all 3 goals.   Should probably be 2-1.   Rangers come out too flat way too often.  And the few times they do start well they suck the rest of the game.

He didn’t even lift his glove on the first goal

Welcome to the playoff nightmare scenario.  Hopefully two of them are on by the time April rolls around.

On-ice leadership is missing.  Gustafsson is probably the best leader the Rangers have right now and his roles don't allow that to show the way they should.  He was one of the backbones of the fast start and then he got demoted when Fox got back.

Is Fox playing today

lol this isn't Igor's fault.

Equal blame to everyone that sets foot on the ice. Rangers rarely show up ready to play a physical game against the Islanders, and the Islanders seem to look forward to it. They got punched it the face for the first 20, now they need to punch back. Will they? History says they won't, let's wait and see.
