This will be Schneiders game.  2 goals. Massive hits. 

 

Shesterkin takes a step closer to being back. 

 

20/93 flop again as floaters. Vesey throws HIS helmet. 

 

Line 3 carries the offensive flow. 

 

ABC feed is typical choppy with horrific sound until the 2nd. 

 

Miller gets turnstiled like he's Penn Station, (including the fellas who jump over the turnstiles) all game.  - no big prediction there. Goes to 22 games without a goal. 

 

Trocheck and Lafrenière pound the net and get into a line brawl,  Panarin drops Brock Nelson with a Domi style haymaker. Lindgren bleeds from just watching from the bench. Miller powerbombs Dobson 6 times.

The degree of urgency among the Metropolitan chasing teams has to be through the roof at this point.

 

They are going to be way more desperate than we are and for good reason.

 

A win here under such conditions would be a real feather in our caps.  Let the Igor resurgence/rehabilitation continue.

Oh good. And they have only just started using Othmann on the right. Brilliant. Not like he should have been there all season as well as a look at center.  Guess they wanted him to get his feet wet first. But it seemed pretty obvious this kid would be just fine.

For some reason, no matter the record, the Islanders always seem to approach a game with the Rangers as a MUST win at all costs. Rangers don't always take the same approach. However, Laviolette seems to have them, once again, pointing in the right direction. The rest is up to the players on the ice, will they show up ready to work?

Went to the Wolf Pack game last night.  Othmann did play RW.  Can’t say he really did much but miss the net a ton of times on the power play.   If everyone thinks Zibanejad misses the net a lot they’ll all love Othmann.  Kid isn’t ready from what I saw.  Not sure anyone from the minors can be counted on just yet except maybe Garand as a backup for next season.
