BrooksBurner
So when does Gauthier get a better look by the way? 2nd game in a row getting blasted and we can't find him some ice time to give him a chance?
The Dude
What's going on here? Strange decision making with the puck. Just stupid passing. Lazy pussy stuff like passing the puck to a guy 2 feet away with a guy on him by Fast. DeAngelo trying the cross ice when the forward is tied up, yet he himself has a clear path to the net.. ??? RodrigueGabriel
Playing middling teams vs playing a good team.I'm afraid I have the "anything can happen if you make the playoffs" line echoing in my head. Unfortunately, this could happen. Sent from my SM-G970U using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
Karan
Yeah, I guess you guys were right. Igor gives them the best chance to win, because he's the only goalie capable of making superhuman saves. but when you're a team that needs a goalie that constantly has to make superhuman saves, then you're not a very good team. That's how I see it too. Igor is definitely at that elite level that Lundqvist was when he entered the league, fully capable of making superhuman saves on a night in night out basis to compensate for a sloppy defensive team. Without that powerhouse teams can easily light them up on the scoreboard and then the rest of the team quickly loses confidence too.
NYRangers723
Missing Igor and CK is way too much especially against better team

But that's also no way to win, even if it's the only way you can win, ya know? Like you can't be a sieve even with Igor in there. It's unsustainable. It just makes you the Leafs. The Dude
"Oh am I in your way? Well I'll just slide over here so you can get your shot..." This team now. WTF?
phillyb
Lemieux is such a terrible agitator when the only person who he agitates is himself. This is exactly what I took from that interaction as well. hahah

Drew a Penalty
Pretty much. Only difference between us and the Leafs is that they have more firepower to score themselves out of trouble. So do the Rangers. That's literally all they're good at. They've been a top scoring team all season.

Myusername
It's a start I guess. If they can squeeze out another one before the third we may still have a chance given how dominant they are in the 3rd period
Karan
I think you missed Pete's point there. Completely. Meh, I think we've all known for a couple seasons even since Lundqvist got into the mid 30s that simply being a good goalie, and no longer having superhuman reflexes, was not going to compensate for the Rangers weaknesses in other areas. Karan
Another 2 goals in the 2nd and they *might* have a 1% chance of tying this up in the 3rd.
Myusername
If they somehow manage 2 this period I'm confident we win this
