  1. This reminds me of the Rick Nash situation. The Blue Jackets demanded an astronomical return. They had little leverage because of his NMC and finally had to settle for what they got. Buffalo is probably in a worse situation bevstse if the neck issue which is obviously a huge red flag as well as their refusal to let anybody check the Medicals. It seems like they are demanding Kakko be apart if a deal which is hilarious. Plus they also want Nils and/or Schneider which is also hilarious
  2. Buffalo is trying to dupe a team into giving into their demands. The fact is not letting anyone check his medical records pretty much confirms that it’s not good. Obviously it will dramatically lower the price. Hopefully we move on to something else or just keep the pick and draft a Center
  3. The whole Tony D thing honestly makes me sad. Kid is loaded with talent and could have helped us if he could keep his anger in check. Honestly his political beliefs didnt bother me since I share many of the same beliefs BUT he obviously has maturity issues and anger issues that he needs to fix otherwise he won’t last in the NHL. Personally I felt it was BS that he was benched after the first game BUT he handled it the wrong way. He should have just moved past it and focused In the next game but like Gorton said he just wouldn’t let it go and led to a bigger issue. So I’m glad this was at least handled swiftly even though it was ugly. I have no ill will toward the kid but this was something that had to be done
  4. Great Game. Pretty much scary or looked good. Buch was a monster, George owns the isles, and the kids looked real good. Strome looks really bad but other than that a much better result than game 1
  5. I like the trade and the pick. I wish Lias well. It?s obvious he has maturity/mental health issues so even though it was a disaster here I still wish him well. Clark deserves criticism because all the great things he said about Lias turned out to be the exact opposite. Anyway it?s over I?m glad we got some value back
  6. I like Strome but he is what he is. I think the majority agree he greatly benefited playing with Panarin. If he does remain a Ranger it will probably be just for the year or until the deadline
  7. Tough day but it’s for the best going forward. We have a very good young goalie tandem going forward with Igor obviously being the guy now
  8. Tough day. One of my favorite Rangers ever. Selfishly I was hoping he would retire a Ranger and the cap space would obviously help but I understand he is a fierce competitor and wants to either start somewhere or share duties. I’m just glad we didn’t trade Georgiev
  9. . True. No need to rush Laf into top spot right away.
  10. Agreed. I’ve always accepted what Kreider is. He had been a good player for us who had become a leader and has a unique skill set that is not easy to find. For a 19th overall pick he has been a success. Also he is one of the better conditioned players in the league so I don’t see him suddenly breaking down at 30
  11. I hope not. I love Hank but I’m not just getting rid of Georgie just to keep Hank 1 more year
  12. . I’m pretty sure it’s a full NMC for the first 3-4 years. Then a limited NTC clause and he gives a list of 11 teams to trade to
  13. Doesn?t Kreider have a NMC the first 3 years?
  14. I hate Boston but I want a better pick so this is the only time I will be happy with a Boston win
  15. I’m hoping he retires and maybe played back home. I don’t want to use the buyout option and I don’t want to trade AG just to make room for Hank one more year
  16. True. Although it’s not a big secret that Strome isnt effective at all without Panarin. I also think Buch is a possibility to be dealt even though I like Buch a lot.
  17. Now that we won the lottery I’m not opposed to packaging Carolinas pick along with one of Strome/Buch and a bitter piece to get a better Center or Dman
  18. Strome is another one who has fallen back to earth unless he is carried by a red hot Panarin
