phillyb
If Nashville loses in the 2nd round, does Laviolette get the axe? If so, I'm all in on that dude. SCF appearance only last year and losing to a great WPG team? No, that doesn't cost Lavy his job.
The Dude
SCF appearance only last year and losing to a great WPG team? No, that doesn't cost Lavy his job. Torts was fired a year after going to the conference finals. Why not?

Giacomin
Torts was fired a year after going to the conference finals. Why not? Because the guys who run the Preds are not a bunch of idiots. Forget it, not happening. Lavy is a rare find and would be scooped up by any team with a vacancy. He's an experienced HC who is not guilty of overcoaching and will adjust to the makeup of the roster. Gravesy
If Nashville loses in the 2nd round, does Laviolette get the axe? If so, I'm all in on that dude. No chance imo. If they'd lost to the Avs in terrible fashion then maybe.
Fatfrancesa
The preds have had I believe 1 gm and 2 coaches in their entire existence. They are probably the least likely franchise to make a move like that
Blue Heaven
:tweet: @NYP_Brooksie Post has learned that David Quinn has told friends he is staying at BU. Story to be posted shortly
Scott
Welp maybe the job isn't as special to a lot of these guys as we hoped it would be. We'll never know who was where on their list going into this.

josh
please no lindy, please no lindy, please no lindy I assume that would have been announced, already, if he was the leading candidate. It appears they are holding out to talk to an individual still in the midst of finishing the season.
Future
I think it's almost certainly Keefe, at this point.
ThirtyONE
Quinn would have been an Interesting choice. Keefe or Eakins please. Not into any of the available NHL guys.

Phil
I didn't call it. I've just been hoping he's the one. At this point, why wouldn't it be? Unless they come out of left field with some veteran retread. Ozzy
Out with the old and in with the NEW! This whole franchise needs a whole new attitude and approach. I think he'd fit the bill just fine going forward! I hope you're right on this one, man!

Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk Normally I would be all gloom and doom and say that is exactly what they are going to do but I have a feeling they're really going in a different direction this time. Just hope its the right choice at the end of the day.

ThirtyONE
Watch, they’re waiting for Trotz I might jump off a bridge. I have a hard time believing that to be the case after everything that management has said.

Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuc
For a young, rebuilding, most likely losing team? I dont really see the perfect fit.
Pete
For a young, rebuilding team, you don't think a coach that teaches defense, attention to detail, accountability and "how to be a pro" is a perfect fit?
