Youth movement and 4th line again tonight.   Trocheck line 2 goals, Laffy and KK net their first, and the Grind Line wears down Caps defenders.   I could see Jimmy or Matty net one.   Holy Cow, if Goodrow netted one I'd have to schwab my shorts.

 

When game seems in hand, I wouldn't mind seeing Tommy Willy get a beating.

Really hope Laf keeps up the hard nosed physical play. I have a feeling this may be his coming out party as a power forward. We've all been waiting for this since the org drafted him. His game the other night was fantastic. Hope he can sustain this style of play throughout. That line has been awesome. It was even better the other night.

 

Also looking forward to closely watching the Kreids/Ovechkin match up. Kreids checking him in game one was also stellar. If we can keep Ovechkin in check in the series (2 goals or less) we walk away w the series.

Expect Washington to come out swinging. Things might get dirty early on. Rempe will be needed more in a good way. If challenged to fight tell them to “fuck off” and skate away. Let them take the penalties. Washington takes penalties Rangers power play can fill the net with pucks and put them away in the first. IF that happens and somethings telling me it will tonight. When a team begins to run out of options in trying to either match or beat their opponent they begin to take cheap shots (some dangerous!), goon it up, start fights. Rangers and Rempe cannot get drawn into this. Protect Igor, Mika, Breadman. The others I feel can handle themselves. Rempe check clean and as hard as you can. Keep the fucking elbows away from their heads please. We do not want a fucking suspension with 5 games left after tonight. Go get em Rangers! Go get em Rempe!
