QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“Feels like we’re saying similar things after a lot of these games. We’re going through it a little bit right now.”

I appreciate the 8:30 start. I also know that Frank Vatrano is going to kill us tonight. Hopefully the boys can be ready to go less than 24 hours after the last one. (Who makes these schedules???)

The SJS fans are already tuning out the team this season.  They can't afford to have Rangers fans not watching as well due to a west coast start time.

Also, True Detective S1 is still the best TV I have ever seen.  (Well Get Smart was close.)

2 games in 2 nights against NFL playoff games. Thanks so much Mr. Schedule Maker. Also tonight Jodie Foster "True Detective" . So if this game sucks like last night, there's alternatives.

See this one, if you don't win this one, then I'm with @The Dude to ready the firesale. I'm all here for losing close games against good teams but Anaheim and San Jose are not good, so it really is four points, no excuses for these next two. I thought we probably deserved a point against the Kings last night. Obviously not against vegas

Lmao. I didn't say anything about a firesale. Just a shake up. A move. Definitely leaning towards moving on from Miller as he's the biggest asset that is somewhat replaceable. Ready to give up on Kakko. Maybe Kreider too.

Just asking Kreider for his list might be a big enough shake up right now.

There is no list though. He has an NMC.

For limited NTCs, like Goodrow, I think players/agents are supposed to give that automatically during the summer. Could be wrong though.

I guess the equivalent to a shake up would be to ask NMC players if they are open to waiving, but that’s not realistically happening with a first year vet coach like Lavi right now.

I know you know this list, but looking at the list of players who can be outright traded, no questions asked, to shake things up, I’d put them in this order of who I’d trade first:

Miller

Kakko

Schneider

Lindgren

Lafreniere

That's why you ask for the list. We want to trade you, where are you willing to go?

People mistake NMCs as a complete inability to trade the player. All that really means is that the player has total control of where they would go. There have only been a handful of players, and only one in recent memory (Torey Krug), who haven't waved their clause.

Schitts Creek Yes GIF by CBC

Too bad he sucks at the dot like Chytil.  He probably should move to wing. So they would have 2 guys that are teetering on top 6 forward potential that shouldn't be centers, but are.  It could be worse. Like it is now and with pudding head maybe coming back...
