QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“Some things don’t necessarily make headlines. [Igor Sheserkin] was really good in net, Panarin scores three goals and yet Trouba might not get talked about that much in what he did inside of that game: physicality, blocking shots and the way he played the game. And I think we need everybody to continue that and keep stepping forward.”

— Peter Laviolette on the impact of Jacob Trouba

The Canes are still the team that worries me long term.. If they can ever get competent goaltending, they are built for success.. Svech is starting to get back to pre ACL form too.. I hate these fuckers, their fans annoy the shit out of me.

I love Fast, but I hope someone (#8) goes full freight train on his ass.

Canes have been playing well lately. Need to win this to stay firmly ahead of the pack, because even though we've been tremendous, we're still only ~10 points ahead of what is an absolute clusterfuck of teams sitting on ~40pts. the Divisional games this year are going to be more important than ever

'Only 10' at this juncture, with how competitive the division is, is still pretty damn good. Obviously divisional games are always important, I'm just glad they have a pretty good cushion right now.

Indeed it is outstanding to have the cushion

Rangers kind of have the 'Canes number at this point.  Like to keep that up.

Someday Brind'Amour is going to wear his player's legs down to stubs and I want to be watching as they waddle around the ice afterwards.

I'd say it's been awesome season so far, despite the occasions when they loose and the GDT goes nuts. In the latter one, pretty much trading everyone and getting a new coach will resurface. 🤣

The Rangers had the least divisional games in the division, 6-2-0 a 75% winning percentage. The others have 50 - 70% winning percentage in the division. The Rangers will be just fine and will pad their cushion even more in the upcoming divisional games.

I'm now feeling a little bit better about the chit chat and watching the game; Sam is slurring a bit and that's sure to progress leading to unending entertainment.
