Like you're staring an NHL expansion draft in the face and you get to protect 4 players, then 3 players, then 3 players. Who do you protect for value and how do the players rank in that context? The difference between the two would be that one looks just at win-now value and the other looks at roster value maintenance. We might even have an expansion draft coming up with the Utah proposal.
