Lots of candidates for demotion after the collapse against the Lightning.  The most egregious turnover machines, in my opinion. were Lafreniere and Miller, demoted.

Two pucks got by Laf at the blueline.  The first one he managed to harry the puck carrier until help came and no penalty.  The second one was same game plan but a penalty instead.

I'm still so much up in the air about him.  Great mind attached to ok puck skills.  Just ok.

That's an odd choice for today considering his line was the only one to post an even rating last night.

Are you sure you want to go down this road? Ill give you a take back.

There's no road to go down. I'm not debating whether or not he should be moved down, I'm saying it's an odd game to do it after.

Well, there's only two moves a game, and I think being on the cusp of top 10 on the team is way too high based on that production.

I was the last one to move him (up) in a cumulative move also even after a 0 point game:

He belongs down with Cuylle, who is also producing zilch (1 point, -3 in his last 12).

I would guess there's probably at least 3-4 players who should be above both Cuylle and Kakko, but the move limit is...restricting.

Who? There's 8 players below Cuylle. Three just arrived (one hasn't played a game yet), one barely plays (Jones), two fringe players in Brodz and Rempe then Goodrow and Gus. Gus probably deserves to be over them, but no one else really.

2 goals and 3 assists against the Penguins for Panarin, Trocheck not only contributed to the scoring but played a solid all-around game

Jones has been much improved defensively since stepping in with Trouba out, and he still moves the puck well. They might need him full time depending on Lindgren's injury.

Key 5 pts +3 last 2 games. He gets a gold star for now.

You can see Jones confidence now.  He's a dangerous player in the OZ.

And he's doing it without sacrificing the d-zone too much.

We can and should feel very good about him at this point. He's clearly progressed well.
