I really liked their 3rd period. Good to grab a point. They all matter.

Panarin and Zibanejad should never see the ice in an OT unless we’re a man up.

 

They are HORRIBLE in overtime’s. Horrible.

 

Trocheck-Kane-Fox. Then follow up with Chytil and Tarasenko. Zibanejad and Panarin just like to play keep away for 90 seconds.

You know how it’s not always your best players who go in shootouts? Well, same for 3-on-3. Zibanejad and Panarin overthink things and are too passive. Get a PP? Cool toss them on then.

3 thoughts; Malkin held and then finally threw Panarin to the ice; Panarin retaliated, penalty. Refs trying on their black&gold unis to get ready for the playoffs.

 

But issue remains so far since the deadline this team is less than the sum of it's parts.

 

And misses Lindgren terribly.
