QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“It obviously sucks not playing and you want to be out there. But, you know, you’ve got to be smart, too, and take your time. Make sure that when you do get back out there, you’re feeling good. It’s never fun missing games like this. It’s just kind of boring. It’s nice to travel with the team and be with the guys and stuff, but just want to get back out there.”

— Ryan Lindgren, during his reboot sequence

I'm hoping the Rangers get up for this one n come out looking like they need to for the playoffs. Saw a lot of minutes last night w lazy play. Can't have that tonight. Need tight checking, puck possession and please please lose the D zone turnovers that were so prevalent last night.

Please get the puck out of our zone efficiently...

Look what I'm asking......  Ugh!  This one could get ugly tonight if we pull that shit again, and again!  Halak too??

I'm watching this one through my fingers tonight!

At the Pittsburgh Crosbies, for a national telecast, so you know which way the calls are going to go.  Could be Jarry against Halak in net.  Penguins need the 2 points for their playoff push.

Rangers 4-0.  Lots of Penguins whining to the refs.

It feels like Lindgren has been out for 3-4 weeks. It's only been 11 days. Odd they never put him on IR. I'd think they could have saved some cap dollars and given themselves a little more wiggle room for depth and call ups.

I think they actually show up today. Pitt always gets their blood pumping.

Chytil gets back on track.

Mikkola only gets walked 4 times

Kreider takes out DeSmith

Tarasenko flattens Crosby

Fox finally puts a puck in the net

Motte survives the game

Goodrow fights..... Zucker

Miller almost throws the body

Drury cries on camera after revealing he made a huge mistake in trading Gauthier (whom i see has been a healthy scratch along with Brassard the last couple games... obviously an effort to tank. )

Trivia answer is Luc Robitaille.

Yeah the Lindgren handling has been weird. He’s missed 6 games. Even if he is able to come back today, sitting out an extra 4 probably would have been good for his body. If they put him on LTIR from the start, they’d have had an extra body during the Miller suspension.

Still don't see anyone posting anything to confirm who is starting today.  I'm hoping for Igor but have a feeling it is going to be Halak.  I would ride Igor until next Saturday and let Halak play against Nashville Sunday.

Gallant putting Tarasenko in net

It's looking like it'll be Halak vs. Jarry.
