Perspective: we're still up by 7 in 3rd place.  We're not going to get 2nd.  We need to start playing better, but we don't need to wear out Igor.  These two games are starting less than 24 hours apart and are in different cities.  Not the right time to start back to backing him.

I get that you don't wanna burn out your goalie right before the playoffs start.  This wouldn't be that situation though.  They just came off of a 3 or 4 day break.  One back to back isn't going to kill him.  Especially when the rest of the week is a game every other night with a back to back next weekend.  He has been much better the last two games, let him continue to get himself in a groove.  Sit him next weekend during one of those back to backs.  Its nothing against Halak.  Its everything about Igor settling in for the stretch run and the post season.
