I'll miss Buch, was really developing into a solid well rounded player.

I don't know much about Blais, anyone have ideas?

Gotta be some more coming.

Getting Blais is fine, I was just hoping for a better return when it came to trading Buchnevich.

Drury wants a first for Georgiev and this is what he sells buch for

Just terrible. Missing at least one more pick or player in the return

They sold really low. While the fancy stats don't say it, the organization must think that Buchnevich was more of a beneficiary of his time with Kreider and Zibanejad than someone deserving of a raise. St. Louis is negotiating a deal with him now so we'll see what kind of contract he ends up with.

The key value in this deal is the salary cap space we've freed up - something like 4-5m depending on what Buch signs for. Blais will be perfect on Goodrow's RW, but unless there's a bigger picture, it's hard to be excited about seeing a great player go for what feels like very, very little.

Was hoping for Buch to be packaged with other assets in return for great riches.

We slowly developed a player over five seasons into something of a stud and in return get...

Well at least Blais is only making $1.5m, but he's in his last year and will get more next, we we start to not be able to afford it.

Buch should not shed a tear. He'll be a very good fit in St.L.
