Rangers Likely to Recall Vitali Kravtsov in Near Future

Based on the lines last game, and them saying they want to see more of the Laf-Chytil-Kakko line, my quess is:

CK - Zib - Buch

Bread - Strome - Kravtsov

Laf - Chytil - Kakko

My lines from the start of the season only have Buch and Kakko switched. I think Buch helps the kids a bit more than Kakko would. CK/Zib can help Kakko more.

So deep.

Is that true? Hmm. That must have changed over the last few months.

It's a general guideline for both exposures (with the ability to test frequently) and air travel.

He'll test as soon as he arrives in NY and test towards the end of the 7 days before joining the team.

Vitali Kravtsov has arrived in New York and has begun the quarantine/protocol process that will likely last for 10-14 days before he can begin skating with the club. So it will take a bit of time for the 21-year-old winger to be in position to make his NHL debut.

So he won't see NHL game time until about the 2nd week of April ?

Only change Kravstov has at making the lineup is if the Rangers bump Blackwell down (or out of) the lineup.

It's going to become clear if they're trying to "win" or trying to "develop." Can't do both. Team is built for development. So hopefully they see that.

No kidding. Hopefully the front office and coaching staff know this. Removing Blackwell will be removing a worthy player. He just has no long term future here and so he shouldn't be playing over Kravstov, Kakko, or Buch.

Same. Lemieux is another guy I'm just totally over at this point.

Funny I was thinking that the other day too. I like the idea of him more than the actual play he brings on ice. Rangers need more physicality and yet I just don't feel like he brings what they need. Maybe he's less effective because he's the only player on the team who has that kind of game? I don't really know. I thought he'd be more involved in the game. Be more of a pest. I mean he's just not noticeable at all out there.
