It's a lot more than I thought but they can resign him. I'd have considered that trade if we could have resigned him. Slobberknocker
glad we didnt do it. would have been to much to give up anyway. they don't hand cups out in february and while i agree that vancouver ran through new york like a hot knife through butter the playoffs are a different story. And, they moved Kuzmenko. https://www.capfriendly.com/teams/flames https://www.hockey-reference.com/players/k/kuzmean01.html Kuzmenko: 39 goals and 35 assists last year in 81 games. 8 goals and 13 assists in 43 games this year. Canucks have played 49 games - so he was a healthy scratch in 6 games (or had a minor injury that cost him a game or two which I don't remember him having, he definitely was a healthy scratch in at least 4 games). Tocchet and he clashed so he went from a first line staple to bounced between all 4 lines, TOI significantly reduced. Contract expires after 2024-2025. Lindholm is the headline. But the Canucks also removed a potential locker room issue, and gave 27-year old Kuzmenko a fresh start with a new franchise.

Fkm
Thank god for Vancouver. The rangers cannot be making short sighted deals with a broken core. This team needs a major change not an addition around the margins. IMO 2 of Fox, zib, panarin, and kreider need to be sent packing. Don’t care which 2 but the country club needs to close for repairs. The rangers need core guys who will drag others into a fight. These guys are not it

RichieNextel305
Same video posted in the Sphere/Dolan thread. But also mentioned is the fact that the Rangers made an offer to Calgary for Lindholm.
