You think they’d do Tkachuck straight up for Fox? Fox is the better player but Tkachuck is a unicorn. There is him and his brother and no one else that brings their skillset. He is a top line forward and he’s young. Do you think that’s a bad move for the Rangers if they’d do it?

My last post regarding Vince. I promise. dredger reports the Rangers are taking calls on Kakko. Meaning a source is telling him the Rangers are discussing moving him and that it’s not just speculation that they are considering it anymore. The news here is that people are calling and the Rangers are discussing. Vince is reporting that the rangers could get to the point they will trade Kakko. Just more speculation with no new news huge difference

I agree with you. No point in trading him unless the trade is a no brainer. He’s useful yet disappointing because of his draft status. He could develop into much more though and he’s paid nothing in the meantime. They need more guys playing above their pay not less. He fits that for now.

I agree with you. Not all top 4’s are equal though. The Rangers need to fill his hole with a professional defenseman who can log some minutes. They don’t have to get a proven top 4. They can’t replace his potential probably but they can replaced the flawed minutes he plays currently

I’m not questioning you posting it. I’m questioning Vince as if he’s giving information. He’s saying that the rangers COULD eventually get to the point where they would entertain trading kakko. Thanks Vince for stating the obvious. dredger already reported they are taking calls on him. So yeah I guess they COULD be open to it. TheRangers COULD eventually be open to trading anyone. The Rangers could be open to trading Igor too if he doesn’t play better because they won’t be resigning him if he doesn’t. Obvious. I’d expect more from a beat writer than reporting the obvious as news.

It’s actually not confirmation of anything other than what dredger already said. If he has a source say so. Otherwise he’s basically saying the sky is blue and water is wet.

I’m a little confused by the quote. Doesn’t Vince cover the team as a beat writer? I believe any player on the Rangers could be moved at the right price. So he’s basically saying nothing. If he has a source saying that yeah Kakko is being shopped than say that otherwise it’s just click bait

I agree with everything other than it being imperative they replace miller right away with an already developed top 4 lhd. If the Rangers have come to the thought that miller won’t develop anymore than moving him for help up front in the forward you describe makes sense. It makes sense regardless if they have his replacement or not i totally agree that it needs to be in the summer as does kakko. There is just so many more options come summer

Obviously I have no issue moving kakko if it improves the team long term. However you cannot trade him for a rental. Which is more likely kakko develops into a reliable top 6 wing or the Rangers win a round no less the cup because of whoever they get for him? Duclair? People are kidding right?

I’d rather kakko too but I think Ottawa would love to have laf because of the French Canadian connection. In fact they would probably overvalue him because of it. id only offer these two for Tzachuck. He’s a game changer for what this team needs desperately .

Thank god for Vancouver. The rangers cannot be making short sighted deals with a broken core. This team needs a major change not an addition around the margins. IMO 2 of Fox, zib, panarin, and kreider need to be sent packing. Don’t care which 2 but the country club needs to close for repairs. The rangers need core guys who will drag others into a fight. These guys are not it

I’m all for moving miller for a quality young center. Seems like a trade like that could happen. Miller is still very young and has tons of potential. Somebody would jump at that, not sure whom specifically or for what but it’s completely possible
