Weekend day games are rough for me when prior to a work travel week. I’ll be GDT absent again and be watching as I run house work.

Vezna Shest comes back today to save the day and end the skid.

Oh the excitement. More aimless skating around with the puck!

Really hope he's good to go. They're desperate, so I guess they really can't afford to wait for him to go on a conditioning stint.

They talk about patience and not making the same mistakes. ... Then they just throw this kid back into the lineup. I'm sure this is going to go greaaaat.

Kakko on one leg is better than Blidh and lechysynynym

While true, that's not the point.

Coming off a knee injury and only skating with the team in a non contact jersey for a few days, doesn't sound like a good recipe for a kid that had zero confidence before the injury.

Now he's coming in (probably) a little unconfident in his knee, let alone in his game.

Hopefully I'm wrong and he's been doing a lot more than what was being reported.

Kid really needs to come in running on all cylinders.

They should try Kakko at C on the 3rd line.  It'd be much harder for him to get lost in the corners and start playing with himself if they did that.

I get where you're coming from. I probably suggested that a few years ago.

If that were an option,  I'd think we'd have seen it over the years. I mean,  he's never really the next man up when a center gets booted from the dot. He's taken 24 faceoffs in the NHL. He's won 7.  29.2% .

I doubt we ever see him at C as a Ranger.
