QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“I love his speed, I love his compete, I love the fact that he shoots the puck and he’ll bring the puck to the net. And down at the American Hockey League level, he was one of the top offensive players. He was on the No. 1 power play, No. 1 line, maybe No. 1 in [AHL] scoring when he got called up. And so for me, when you recall a person, because you’re looking for something, I think you have to put them in a position where they can be successful.”

— Head Coach Peter Laviolette on Jonny Brodzinski

Igor confirmed today? I imagine they split the weekend.

Laviolette might be trying to get Igor in a groove after all the missed time.

I would not be all that surprised to see him playing everything but back-to-backers for the next few weeks.

I like that Laviolette is informed about what a guy like Brodzinski is doing in the AHL. Gallant and some other previous Ranger coaches most likely wouldn't know a damn thing about such a player and their success, their role or their stats.

This guy is into his job and it shows everyday. I hope the Rangers can keep him for years to come. The bottom will fall out eventually,  but I'd like to keep this type of detailed hockey mind here for much longer than his coaching career. I think that highly of him.

Wheeler pots 2.

Lafrenière gets 1

Schneider finally connects on another great Panarin feed.

Jed Ortmeyer for trivia

Sam talks about how the Julien Gauthier parade of greatness had to be canceled atleast a dozen times and is still having set backs for some strange reason

Vesey fights ROR

Zibanejad is seen putting his hand/glove on Kreider's... mouth. As if to say "shush baby, I love you".

Gustafsson is a minus 1

Lindgren doesn't bleed today

Bonino sets a world record and blocks 15 shots.

Brodzinski plays 9:41, but has 9 shot attempts. 4 hit the scoreboard.
