We played our flattest, most lifeless game of the year against them. Well, that and the Buffalo game earlier in the week. Either way, hope that’s fresh in their heads and they bring their A-game and they beat the shit out of them today so I don’t have to hear my Nashville buddies talking their shit.

I like that Laviolette is informed about what a guy like Brodzinski is doing in the AHL. Gallant and some other previous Ranger coaches most likely wouldn't know a damn thing about such a player and their success, their role or their stats. 

 

This guy is into his job and it shows everyday. I hope the Rangers can keep him for years to come. The bottom will fall out eventually,  but I'd like to keep this type of detailed hockey mind here for much longer than his coaching career. I think that highly of him.
