How much space do you need and do you need to stand?

Don’t need to stand and I guess I need enough space for a printer and potentially a good sized monitor. I’d be willing to put a 30” or so monitor up there.

Probably one of the most popular desk options over the past few years: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/lagkapten-alex-desk-black-brown-white-s29417687/#content

I have this one. No space for a printer but I also have a dual monitor setup: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/utespelare-gaming-desk-black-80507627/

That one has some solid storage for sure. Can put the PC on one of the two tables below instead of taking up desk space. I saw it in the store as a demo and its nice to sit at.

Printer might be tough to find a spot for though.

Might I suggest having a wifi printer and banishing it to a random corner? LOLspacer.png

Lol ours already is a wifi one but having it remain connected to the same network is about as frequent as a Laffy goal. I swear that thing is just trolling at this point.

I'm in Westchester, so not that far. Depending on timing I could help you out.

So I’m still interested in this. Not tomorrow but when the pc goes into the basement for the baby soon, I’m all in. Do you know how to build them or just point to what to buy in a build?

I know that I'm crazy late to this party but Dying Light 2 is fun as fuck. Assassins Creed meets Far Cry meets Left 4 Dead

I was wondering about that game a while ago. Might have to try it if I ever have some

time.

assassins creed… since you bring it up. I don’t get the hype for these games. They’re so frigging boring. What am I missing?

It's kind of riding on the legacy of some of the older titles. A parkour style assassination game with a great, somewhat historic story should be a winner every time, but it's been a little on and off recently. Origins was decent, Odyssey was actually great, Valhalla was...okay.

I believe origins was the one I tried after trying the original years ago. And in both cases it just seemed like a very linear game with not much to it other than going through the story. In all fairness I didn’t get far into origins but I just wasn’t into it enough.

History, assassins, etc.. shoulda been a home run for me.

Yeah, Assassin's Creed is a franchise that never did anything for me either. Like you, I felt it should. Origins was really the only game that interested me and that I could get into, mainly because I like Egyptian stuff.

Dying Light 2 is very fun, although I prefer the story and characters of the first game more, but they did a good job with the new one. The Dead Island games are fun also and the new one is solid.
