So we wanted to get harder to play against but none of the hard to play against guys are actually good enough to play with our good players.  So now our top 6 is still pillow soft and disappearing against a physical team and our bottom 6 can barely play the sport.

When your top six aren't doing shit, there's nothing you can do. They held them to six shots against for the first thirty. They couldn't create anything offensively, took some penalties, and here we are.

They look terrible tonight. Not sure why they think the gameplan on the PP is to blast away from the point, but good for them. They can't defend the middle of the ice in their own zone. And they're blowing coverages all over the ice. Awful, awful first game.
