Well Gallant is a terrible coach who has no system and does nothing.  I've said that from day one.  He doesn't tell them what to do, he just claps his hands and yells stuff.

This is what happens when a fringe playoff team goes from playing against AHL-caliber preseason opponents to a division leading team at almost full strength. Sky isn't falling. This is always going to be the problem with constructing a team in this exact way. You basically have a top 6 to score or bust. 2 of those in the top 6 have yet to prove they actually deserve top 6 (Alf and Kakko) and another of the top 6 is streaker as fuck in Kreider. 
 

   Then you have a bottom 6 where 5 are pluggers. Chytil isn’t the kind of player that is going to dominate on his own and the other 5 serve a role but all basically the same role to varying degree. 
 

    Only game 1 of the season but we’ve also just lost our best offensive prospect in the organization that was nhl ready so there isn’t other help unless you actually believe Gauthier would do anything. 

   D is basically Fox and 5 others that are very one dimensional.
