will certainly be interesting to see who they bring in.

I am starting to think the rebuild is officially over.

It is. They still need some roster changes to improve and stuff, but the pieces are in place after three years to make that move.

WOW !!! that didn't take long and I wondering if this was prompted by the exit interviews with the players. I'm really surprised of the removal of Benoit Allaire I thought he was untouchable.

Yeah, I don't think I like that part of it. He's been a tremendous asset here with all of the goaltenders that have come through.

He wasn’t. He was the only one kept.

I’m shocked they let Jacques Martin go.

Allaire is still here. Everyone but Allaire has been fired.

Feel bad for Martin, but I'm sure he has enough shekels saved up to fully retire.

Same. He made his mark on the defense already, though, even if I'd rather he be kept around. But, this is Chris' team now.

Figured he was going to be let go about a week into the off-season. Not entirely a surprise here considering they wanted to give the team new direction. The coaching staff was always going to be a part of that change too.

I'm glad the decision was made quickly.

I fully expect the forum to be complaining about the new coach by next Valentine's Day.
