This is one of the best series of all time. It's nice to see something unique like this in an era of non stop superhero stuff and reboots of everything. It's going to get a third season. This show gets viewers and makes bank. Viewership increased 70% this season compared to the first. It isn't going anywhere.

I would only do it because he has a cool name.

Staple Report: Rangers Fire Long-time Athletic Trainer Jim Ramsay
Sharpshooter replied to Phil's topic in New York Rangers
The whole thing is mystifying to me. Did they want to clean house that much? He's been a staple here for 30 years and it's not like injuries have been a huge problem for this group. He kind of deserved to go out on his own terms here. I'd also love to see who they pick as his replacement. They must have a good idea if they didn't waste any time in choosing to let Ramsey walk. -
2023-24 New York Rangers Schedule Released
Sharpshooter replied to Blue Heaven's topic in New York Rangers
82-0. Panarin 145 points. Laviolette is Coach of the Year. Shesterkin with 25 shutouts. -
I think both parties could be at fault, sure. But the fact that he still really doesn't look that great in any aspect and didn't' really take his conditioning seriously is still alarming, to say the least. Again, I'm not giving up on him by any stretch, but despite whatever situations he's been put in, he has miserably failed the eye test.

The Kraken are a fun team. I'd like to see him over there.

Staple Rangers Have Options but Little Cap Space to Work With
Sharpshooter replied to Phil's topic in New York Rangers
Other than maybe trading Goodrow and retaining some of their own guys, I'm not expecting an overly exciting/interesting offseason. -
Mercogliano Tyler Motte Likely to Test Free Agency
Sharpshooter replied to Phil's topic in New York Rangers
I think he put up a career high in points this past season, so there's that. lol Well, the Rangers do have a fourth round pick in the 2024 draft. They can just use that to get him at the deadline again. -
I'm not giving up on him at all, but he hasn't been put in a spot where most first overall picks are in either. Let's face it, the Rangers were lucky as hell to get the first overall pick that year. It was really only because of COVID. That Rangers team was not a lottery type team by any stretch. Having said that, I'm not too overly optimistic of Lafreniere the player because in his first three years in the league, he doesn't really do anything well. Yeah, it takes time for some to start putting up points, but that's really the thing with him. With him he barely looks like an NHL player a majority of the time.

Cool. It might be better to wait until more DLC is out before I begin playing, I don't know. What difficulty are you playing on? World Tier 1 (the easiest)?

Nintendo Nintendo System and Games Discussion
Sharpshooter replied to Drew a Penalty's topic in Gaming
Mario Galaxy was great, but Wonder looks exactly like the kind of Mario platformer I've wanted for quite some time. -
He expressed interest in coming back, but also said it's unlikely because of their cap situation and the need to re-sign some of their guys. In knowing the unlikeliness of it all, I don't really see him taking a team-friendly deal out of the kindness of his heart. If they are able to work something out, then great. But, I'm expecting him to be elsewhere next season.

The Super Mario RPG looks incredible and so does Wonder. I'm very excited for those. I had always wondered why RPG was never made available in the Switch Online catalog. Now I have a good idea why. -
Some of you guys seriously do too much stat gymnastics and over analysis to make the most miniscule of points. lol Or to try to anyway. Look, I'm not saying he won't improve but from watching him these last few years, the eye test says he pretty much sucks. Yeah, he's not in a position that most first overall picks are usually in, but as I've said from watching, absolutely nothing has stood out to me. He doesn't really do anything well, like, at all. Maybe once in awhile he can dish it, but that's really it. He doesn't score, he hardly ever hits and his skating, while better this year, still leaves a lot to be desired. Can he get better and be a solid contributor at the NHL level sure? Is he a complete bust? Absolutely. That cannot be denied.

Confirmed Legend Henrik Lundqvist Elected to Hockey Hall of Fame
Sharpshooter replied to LindG1000's topic in New York Rangers
Three goalies going in at once has to be a record, no? I can't remember that ever happening before in my time as a fan.
