  1. Great points. Making him unavailable to the media isn't a great look at all, but something they might have to do. I don't know if they're that observant, though. lol It is just another example in support of the 'he can't play in New York' crowd.
  2. Yeah, Lav definitely wasn't pleased about last game. lol
  3. That's probably going to be the fourth line to start the season, no? Maybe you see Brodz in there for Pitlick. Cuylle goes back to Hartford for the time being. I suppose everything else is kind of up for grabs, especially with Othmann getting more opportunity.
  4. I think it's something they should have done a couple of years ago, at least. It's been very clear that part of the problem is he does not seem comfortable.
  5. Yeah, I wasn't expecting that. When I saw 'Rated R Superstar', I was like, 'Daaaamnn!'. Stunned WWE wasn't vigilant on that since they love keeping their trademarks on their own. So yeah, other than all the possible singles matches he can be in, you also have him going out with one last tag team run with Christian. Or at the very least, I rivalry if they want to keep him a heel. But, you have to think they are teaming at some point eventually.
  6. Nice. I figured it wasn't just going to be a one match kind of thing, or even just a few. There are so many possibilities. Also, kudos to Tony for paying up to get 'Metallingus'!
  7. So, maybe homesick for Canada and just not all that great. Wonderful.
  8. Does Laf just not want to be here, or is he just not very good? Or both?
  9. Amazing debut! Major goosebumps moment.
  10. Low key really good signing. It's nice to have another defenseman that can move the puck.
  11. Hey, I was trying to find something. lol He's also shown to have some good snarl in his game, but just like everything else, doesn't show it often enough.
  12. I always thought Fedotenko was kind of underappreciated.
  13. Can we just merge this with the other Laugh thread? lol The only thing he does well, sort of, is passing. When he's not too busy getting the puck off his stick as quickly as possible like it's a grenade, he is capable of some good dishes now and then. I'm trying to be generous here.
  14. Maybe it's a combination of the two, but he either is just not comfortable here, or just isn't that good. The skill is definitely there, you can see it. But as you said, he has no urgency and really no desire to get better. Maybe he's just playing himself out of here. If that is the case, that's more on him than the Rangers. Say what you want about their struggles to develop offensive forwards, and game-changing types, but to have your first overall pick just come here and kind of give up is not on them. Would it have helped if the sent him to the AHL? Maybe, but I don't really know. Again, in some ways it seems he's also just not very good, or at least not good enough to be that star type player. After watching Bedard already looking slick for the Blackhawks, it's maddening how basically two top two picks have been flubbed or were just never that great to begin with. Why can't we have nice things?
  15. Jonas Johansson, Hugo Alnefelt and Matt Tompkins are the other goalies on the roster currently.
  16. The league also conveniently looks the other way too. "Oh a small market team in a non-traditional hockey market is on the cusp of a dynasty? We'll allow it."
  17. Always entertaining games for the most part, especially when the Rangers blew them out a few times there. Honestly most Rangers/Islanders are snoozefests.
  18. I hate the Devils and Penguins more for sure. A lot of disdain there going back to Brodeur and those guys. The Penguins goes without saying. The Islanders are annoying when we play them, but it's whatever. I know we've played the Capitals a lot in the postseason and there definitely was a bit of rivalry there, but I never really disliked them.
  19. I think they brought in the perfect guys at the right time, for what this team needs right now.
  20. Yeah. I don't blame Drury for getting him since he didn't cost much. But, it definitely had more of a negative effect than positive overall. Having said, he still produced nicely and was probably the best player for them in the playoffs. lol One of them, at least. Maybe if the Rangers had another month or so to work something out, then perhaps. But right now, I'll be shocked if it happens. Plus maybe management saw he just wasn't the best fit perhaps.
