QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“We’ve got one game left. We’re gonna work really hard to make sure we play that game properly and do the right things. When that’s over, the regular season is there and we’ll address the playoffs.”

- Peter Laviolette, with that deep math insight

  • Phil changed the title to [RS] (#82) Rangers vs. Ottawa Senators — CLENCHED!

The one thing about this team that I love compared to last year is you don’t hear the “we need to start getting ready to flip the switch to play playoff hockey” shit. Our style is playoff style. That said, gotta get back to playing a full 60. Start that tonight, and receive what you deserve from this regular season. They deserve 1st, they deserve home ice. We’ve been in this position (at least in the Metro) since before Halloween. Wrap it up. And make it all go through MSG for the duration.

We haven't had a blow out in a long time;

Tonight won't be it either!  Expect a tight game, where we'll probably cough up the first goal, and have to come from behind in the 3rd yet again.

In other words:  Expect Rangers Hockey!

Trivia is Steve Larmer and Craig MacTavish who scored the last 2 goals of the Regular season in 1994, the year we won the Presidents Trophy.

I would love to see 🍞 get 2 goals to hit 50, it would be a memorable moment to be able to attend.   Shame that ill be heading back to tx after the game.

Would love to see Quickie get a shot at this one but it doesn't seem that's the plan. Regardless, they hold their destiny in their hands. Make a statements boys and get the ball rolling for the dance. LETS GO!!!!

Trivia is James Sheppard. Question is who scored the GWG the last time the Rangers won the Presidents Trophy back in 2015?

Next level.. I like it.

So possibly stupid question. But will the Presidents Trophy be presented to the Rangers if they win tonight? Or will there be no official presentation? When we won in 2015, we clinched in NJ and then had it given in a pregame ceremony. Will they bother doing that tonight or just have it be a formality? Just curious.
