QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“Especially late in the season, going into the playoffs, to have a hot goalie — or, in our case, not necessarily hot, just really good — it goes a long way. Especially in the playoffs, you see a lot of teams that end up winning the Cup, their goaltender gets hot and stands on his head and steals a couple games here and there. Shesty is capable of doing that any given night.”

- Vincent Trocheck on Igor Shesterkin

Cuylle's missing out on his chance to create recognizable mayhem with Rempe out.

As soon as Rempe's back he's going to revert to that shrimpy guy nobody chants for.

You know, as much as we get on Sam, I'm really gonna miss him when he hangs it up.

He has stumbled so much over names and players this year; I think his time is coming. It'll be beyond sad to hear another voice; similar to when JD left. Wonder who will take over.

Can't express how satisfying it is to see these improved numbers.

I really think Igor had issues related to getting his leg stretched out by the 'Canes in November.  He didn't leave the ice and he came back really fast and was probably dealing with lingering effects.  Now we're like 4 months out from that and he's recovered.
