I didn’t think he would last until the playoffs honestly

He's reckless and now he's developing a reputation.

I love him but he's got a lot to learn.

Reckless is probably the perfect word.

That was just blatant. And it’s hits like that that put a target on him. And a target on him will enforce officials to call penalties down the road on him for hits that don’t warrant it. Which will then force him to change his game, which will limit his effectiveness.

Tl;dr version: a trickledown effect.

He'll learn. He's only played a handful of games.

But it's also too few games to have the reputation he does.

Yeah, news flash, he's going to have a reputation lol, that's the fun part. He wasn't going to play like this and maintain some kind of awe shucks persona lol

Do you want the player, or do you not want the player? I'll take whatever it is he's doing.

Yep he’s going to have the bad rep which will lead to suspension after suspension….bc now he’ll be a repeat offender and not get the benefit of doubt

That fine is going to hurt. $10k for a young guy has to hurt.

He's not a repeat offender though. They reviewed the other one and he got nothing for it. No suspension. No fine.. This is his first offense. But it sure does feel like the league is going to do its best to neuter him.

Rempe doing all the right things until that elbow.  He has to learn to keep his arms down and tucked into his body when he hits.

Yeah, absolutely correct he’s gotta learn to control his temper. He’ll learn because now I’m worried he has such a huge effect on the ice!
