I know this is legit excitement on your part to get that 3 pts in 20 game production back

Superior player compared to Brozinahler4life.  I'm anxiously waiting to breakout the Kakko sweater.  Plus Kakko may come out on fire and go 5 pts in 20 games, you never know.🔥💪

whats the deal with the NHL being so secretive about the nature of players injuries - certainly more so than the other major sports, it seems.

its kind of juvenile...'belichik' like

I get the curiosity around it, but in all honesty... Why does anybody need to know?

its one thing to not know the exact nature of the injury...

but to be kept from knowing whether the expectation is most of the season vs. 6 weeks, like kakkos case? that seems kind of ridiculous

Our non-scoring beast along the boards and puck possession monster is almost back baby!

Please send him down for a conditioning assignment. Get that confidence up .

This is a good idea

Let him play the max number of games he can at Hartford

Agree with this. Keep Othmann up and send Kakko down there and then swap them when the Kak is ready.

I don't mean that as a shot either. That kid needs to dominate some trash players and come up with some kind of chip on his shoulder.  Kid gets so down on himself. Really needs something to go right.

It’s always been an issue related to confidence and success

Not ability.

And he’s not had many breaks.

Do some of his abilities need improvement?

Yes.

But there’s a very good player there.

He might be Dirk Diggler’s Wang just waiting to get out of those jeans.

The risk is if he can't dominate AHLers. I don't think he can.

He will crush down there, but really I think when you come back from an ACL injury it just makes sense to get game time in the AHL first anyway. Practice is way different than a game and this cannot possibly hurt him or the team at this point. Can only help.

Was this ever confirmed?

Ah I thought I read it in this thread, but looking back no it wasn’t. I think the point still applies to most knee injuries but I take it back

Oh I was just curious if it ever leaked.
