QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“I think Laf’s working hard. I really believe in him and the way he plays the game right now. I believe in that line. They’ve done good things consistently the entire year to this point. For me, it’s just a matter of time. He’s just got to keep doing the right things inside of that line, playing with speed, attacking the net.

Let’s get knoblauch fired so we can re-hire him in Hartford

For what? Looks like they've become better since he left. I think they've won 11 of their last 14. They were 3 and 8 when he was here. Looks like Othmann got hot immediately after he left too.

IDK why I'm just not a believer in Knoblauch. I'm sorry I've been really negative towards him. Just seems like he hadn't done much for Hartford and is living off the fact that he once coached McDavid in Jrs (and got little out of him).

Definitely not a trap game.  The Oilers are playing as well as any team in the NHL since Knoblauch was hired and McDavid returned from his short injury stint.

Meh. They're 11 and 6 since the hire. They've lost 3 of their last 5. It didn't start of too great after the hire. They did go on a tear of winning 8 in a row, but mostly against dregs of the league. They all count though. They have a really good roster and as always sub par goaltending.

Edmonton always give the Rangers fits. I don't know why these 2 teams get chippy in their matchups. Draisatl especially. Guy puts on his extra large ball sack when he plays the Rangers.

As always,  I figure the Rangers will play down to a not so good goalie. Skinner has a 3.04 gaa. And a.884 save %. Its almost a guaranteed shut out or 1 goal against game, with 24 SOG.

Its definitely a trap. Admiral Ackbar fuckin knows.

Man, this is going  to be such a fun game to be in the house for, and by "in the house" i mean my own cleaning up poop and vomit as I try to catch snippets of the game in between.

Sounds eerily similar to a night out with Ozzy

you clean up Ozzy's poop and vomit?

Rangers haven't played in three days, are on a three-game winning streak, and going up against an "underdog" Oilers team coached by the guy the Rangers wouldn't hire, who are desperately trying to get back into the playoff picture. Maybe this isn't the most traditional trap game, but there's all kinds of red flags on this one.

That said, 4-3 Rangers.
