Devils rely more on the power play than the Rangers if that’s possible so far this season.  Stay out of the box and they can win this game.  And make sure they don’t get Hughes on the ice versus Jones/Schneider.  3-2 Rangers win.

Is there a need to carry Mackey on the roster? By most accounts, they are looking to accrue cap space for a deadline trade. Why carry a guy that is definitely not going to play?

 

Every penny counts. Don't forget last year, when they played how many games short a guy, to get to that cap number to get Kane.
