Hopefully I'll regret saying this but Wheeler has no role against a team like the Wild.  He can't keep up with anybody.

Now go get a hat trick Blake and then retire in style!

They showed on Tuesday, that they can win with people missing in the lineup. Arguably, they looked better without the missing people, at least during the first two period, but missed them in the third. Go get them boys, tame this beast.

LGR!!!

This Wild team sold their souls to get enough lucky bounces to win last Saturday.

We beat these punks tonight: 5-3

...and I have Gaborik for Trivia!

Why would you not start the kid in net?

End of the day, you signed Domingue for these exact situations, as infrequently as they happen. Unfortunately we’re in a spot where Igor (though he seems just about ready) and Quick (DTD) aren’t able to go. Domingue is really 3rd on the depth chart, and has played pretty well thus far this season in Hartford. I believe he has 6 wins and GAA of under 2. So I can’t fault Laviolette for giving him the nod, as a veteran, who can step in and keep us in it for a night over an unproven rookie. If this were going to be a longer term thing, maybe. But for a spot start, can’t not give it to Domingue who, again,  has played well thus far in Hartford this season.

I can dig this, Richie!

Doesn't matter though, because we're beating the shit out of these guys tonight!

Domingue stinks and has no future here. He’s just a body.

A cup of coffee for the kid feels more beneficial for the franchise for a multitude of reasons. He played well last year for Hartford in the playoffs and has also played well this year. This is an unexpected opportunity to get a glimpse of what he can offer at this level. I don’t think it should be a foregone conclusion that they re-sign Shesterkin after next season, so any opportunity to vet out Garand should be taken.

They'll start him next game.  Give him a game to watch the speed of the NHL in full action.

Are Igor and Quick supposed to miss another game?

I'd be shocked if either of them was in net on Sunday.  They get almost a week more recovery after that and that's the smart move right now given the Rangers great start.

He'll play when Domingue gets pulled. Then we can make many "Pulled Pork" jokes.

I wonder what's wrong with Quick. He seemed okay after his last start. Maybe just a case of being 37 years old, and wear and tear.

So did Igor though.  Can't tell with these prima donna bitches. 😁
