QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

"From a defensive standpoint, I do think that the guys have made a commitment to coming back and making it difficult to play through the neutral zone − and then even more to the point, in our end. If you can do that, you can win a lot of hockey games."

We know there's going to be forechecking, but the winner of this game needs to be fivechecking.

...pretty much!!  LOL

The Devils last season had all kinds of trouble with the Canes in the playoffs.  There always seems to be like 7 of them on the ice.  I'm very curious to see how our structure, forecheck, and defensive coverage plays out tonight.

It's kinda early in the season, but this might be a likely matchup for us in April.  A good check point nonetheless!

I feel like this is a penalty.

6-1 Canes. Rags boo'ed off the ice again.

Tony D with 4 points.

Panarin's point streak snapped.

I'm conditioned to believe ^that^ is what's happening tonight. So counterbalancing that with hope, I say 2-0 Rangers. Let's fucking go!

Really looking forward to this one. Should be a good test. It does feel a bit like one of those where you’re coming off a great road trip and then get your fucking clocks cleaned. 3 down after 12 minutes type of thing. At the same time, I feel like this is the first time this group has been able to show up on time consistently.

Should be a good one.

Just now, RodrigueGabriel said:

Man, they gave the moment of silence less than 3 seconds and cut to ads on ESPN. Classy.

My bad maybe it was ESPN that's how I'm watching but the msg feed. Whether it's dolan or ESPN shame on them
