I think this group really needs a coach who can kick them in the ass and a real X's and O's guy. The last two coaches haven't been it. Can you just imagine where this team would be if they had a coach behind the bench that could really galvanize this group and light a fire under their ass? They'd be right up there with the Devils IMO. Instead of a headcoach coddling them after every loss, handing out participation trophies and encouraging the losing mentality "It's okay guys, you did your best, we'll win the next one, keep doing what you're doing". Scott Posted December 3, 2022 Share Posted December 3, 2022 Need a passenger van at this point to take some of the dogs too. Imo there's no way this is only his fault. This team had the same flaws last year hidden by a couple of things that were probably never going to happen again. Text book smoke and mirrors. Of course the coach needs to go first because it's the easiest move to make but I don't think it's nearly enough. The rest of the changes are way more difficult to make. If Igor is a mid pack goalie we're gonna need an even bigger boat which makes it even more overwhelming. Some waist high shit here all around.
