I mean, you all know how I feel, but Kravtsov playing on 3 with Gauthier playing on 4th line is just… gallANT

3rd line looks good all of a sudden. Just need Chytil back a 3C, and Goodrow as 4C. Or just slap the kid line back together and move Kravtsov up into the top 6. 

 

Is the Carpenter experiment almost over? It's no coincidence the PK has been dogshit this season after bringing him in to kill penalties,  yet not really be used as a primary go to guy. Why's he here? Bottom 6 is ALREADY an issue and the season is only (almost) a month old. I thank Carpenter for somehow getting Hunt off the roster, but times up. He's useless.  He adds nothing at all to this team.

 

His face off percentage is up there, but somehow he's only taken 34 draws. Goodrow is taking a shit ton of faceoffs (and not winning them). Just move Goodrow to center. Dump Carpenter, Vesey and Gauthier (Blais time may be up too) and bring in a legit wing for the bottom 6 or a 4C/wing that contributes minutes on special teams.

 

This is why you bring back Motte over Carpenter, Gauthier, or Vesey. He'd have a role. He'd give the top line players relief from having to kill penalties.
