QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“It's tough on those guys coming in. They haven't played for – I don't know how long it's been – and they gave it their best. They worked hard and that's part of the game. They’ve got to stay ready, and they know that. That’s what it is, but playoffs are coming and we’ve got 27, 28 guys who are going to be hanging around. They’ve got to make sure they're ready when they come in, and I thought they played fine.”

— Gerard Gallant on the Rangers filing in for Chytil and Copp

^This teams kryptonite

Not so much anymore. The Rangers went from 32nd to 25th and are a few points away from 23rd. They've been much better at generating and limiting shooting opportunities over the last two months. They out Corsi'd the Hurricanes in much of the last game until the wheels fell off.

Really depends on if the injured guys play. Even Kakko.

Sure. Better players are going to generate better opportunities. I'm not expecting McKegg or Gauthier to drive possession. Copp has a reputation for being a strong possession player, Motte and Vatrano are both known to chuck. It's easy to see why they've improved so much on the offensive-side of Corsi.

Last game, they came out and played a great first period against the Canes. The Canes responded in the 2nd, got an early goal, and that was it for the Rangers.

I think they are intimidated by the Canes skill and effort.

I want them to win tonight not for first place, because I think that fight is at its end. Instead, I want them to play a full 60 against this team and show them they’re not afraid of them.

This is all that matters tonight!!!

They absolutely need to take it to them tonight. Hard. With no lube.
Bend them over and paint tits on their back like a prison bitch.

Is that some kind of new band-aid symbol next too Chytil in the lineup in the game day?

Schneider has the same, so, no it's not a band-aid symbol. It's more like an off the chart symbol, that is certainly true in the case of Schneider, but not so much for Chytil... as of yet...

I came here to say this. Totally this.

If ever there was a statement game,  this is it. They have owned the Rangers for 2+ years. Gotta step up and show them this team is next level.
