They haven't played for – I don't know how long it's been – and they gave it their best. They worked hard and that's part of the game. They’ve got to stay ready, and they know that. That’s what it is, but playoffs are coming and we’ve got 27, 28 guys who are going to be hanging around. They’ve got to make sure they're ready when they come in, and I thought they played fine.” — Gerard Gallant on the Rangers filing in for Chytil and Copp GIF to BELIEVE :

The Rangers went from 32nd to 25th and are a few points away from 23rd. They've been much better at generating and limiting shooting opportunities over the last two months. They out Corsi'd the Hurricanes in much of the last game until the wheels fell off.

Really depends on if the injured guys play. Even Kakko.

Better players are going to generate better opportunities. I'm not expecting McKegg or Gauthier to drive possession. Copp has a reputation for being a strong possession player, Motte and Vatrano are both known to chuck. It's easy to see why they've improved so much on the offensive-side of Corsi.
Slobberknocker Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 im o.k. holding second. just stay healthy 1
Ozzy Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Trivia answer is obviously Chris Jericho. I'm feeling a victory tonight.
Sod16 Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 This isn't much of a Fight for First Place, considering that even if we win, the Canes will clinch by beating the Devils in regulation.
4EverRangerFrank Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 (edited) I want to see Braun mix it up. *crawls outside the room* Edited April 26, 2022 by 4EverRangerFrank 1
josh Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Last game, they came out and played a great first period against the Canes. The Canes responded in the 2nd, got an early goal, and that was it for the Rangers. I think they are intimidated by the Canes skill and effort.

RichieNextel305 Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 I want them to win tonight not for first place, because I think that fight is at its end. Instead, I want them to play a full 60 against this team and show them they’re not afraid of them. 1 1 3

Scott Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Is that some kind of new band-aid symbol next too Chytil in the lineup in the game day?

Schneider has the same, so, no it's not a band-aid symbol. It's more like an off the chart symbol, that is certainly true in the case of Schneider, but not so much for Chytil... as of yet...

They have owned the Rangers for 2+ years. Gotta step up and show them this team is next level.
