Holy Crap Strome is awful

Well at least we got DeAngelo for Stepan. Him alone made it worth it.

Gordie Clark really laid an egg with that pick similar to Mcilrath. At least we got Chytil from that draft. I understand the 2017 draft was a weaker class but all the things Clark talked about Andersson possessing like grit, heart, leadership had been proven wrong

Just a damn bad luck injury. The good news is if we can somehow weather the storm and make it he should be available for the first round

We were due for one rough night. Back to back games coming back from Canada against a good and well rested Flyers team then to boot we lose Kreider. Tough blows but I still believe in this team handling adversity. It’s gonna be much much tougher now but let’s see how they respond

It’s a huge loss at this point of the season when we are nearly in a playoff spot. Losing Mika earlier in the year was a huge loss but things were different then and it was early on where you can weather the storm. Really sucks

They made the right call for the future. This injury is simply bad luck

What a weird week for CK. Gets a new contract which was great for us then gets the flu then gets a fractured foot blocking a shot...can’t make this crap up lol

Great start but the last half of the period we looked sluggish. Hopefully CK just got a stinger or something

I love looking back on this thread knowing that it was a great thing we didn’t sell again. LGR!!!

The team deserves a ton of credit. Youngest team in the league just two years removed from the rebuild letter yet here we are in the hunt for the playoffs. Even if we do t end up getting this is a great thing for the kids to experience and makes the future look bright. Also we have only had Shesty for like 10 games. If we had him for a full season we are most likely already in a playoff spot. I give credit to Gorton and JD. The moves they made in the summer in particular Panarin and Fox were just franchise altering. I’m also glad they didn’t just give away Fast for a mid tier pick and obviously kept Kreider. Things are looking very good now and the future!!

Love this team. Panarin is a Special player as is Mika. Fox and Lindgren are a great young d core. Thank God we resign Kreider. Strome having a bounce back game too
