I loved the pick and I had heated discussions with many on here when it happened. Admittedly I didnt watch him in many games but I knew he was a very fast riser similar to chytil and he tore it up in the playoffs when given more icetime. Was never a fan of Wahlstrom. Yes has potential as a goal scorer but many have said he has a low motor which is never a great sign

no offense but i trust gordie more than you. If you think he would of been available at 26 you are nuts. Many predicted isles would take him with one of their picks

isles have gotten good draft picks the past 10 years BUT they also havent been able to build a good team around those picks. I trust the rangers more especially with such a skilled player in kranstov

Well at least the reception is better. Kid has major upside just like kranstov. Many are saying we overpaid to move up 4 spots but he most likely would of been gone. Plus dont be surprised if we regain a 2nd tomorrow

Love the pick. Its a shame this pick is getting hammered....a year from now it will be the opposite. Big,can skate,great hands,can score....i thought this was the type of player fans always scream about getting

The rangers did a good job addressing lack of goalie prospects. Both igor and halverson seem like future starter potential

i think its time to bring kreider up. he seems to be using his strengths now and the rangers need offense
