  1. I easily could see him with the pens though.
  2. Today I think is his last show. Pretty sure I heard him mention it the other day that Friday is his last in case anyone is interested.
  3. He’s what, 23 or so? Even if he is the type to have his body breakdown, it’s not going to start until his late 20s. A good 3-4 year deal would be fine if the price is right. I actually think he has potential to be even better than he’s been.
  4. He’s going to be a fan favorite if we sign him long term. Honestly, he’s been great and if he had a multi year deal guaranteed, i think he would elevate his physical game even more knowing an injury wouldn’t affect him monetarily.
  5. This year already reminds me of Gabys first year here when we all revolves around him for offense.
  6. Did he actually have 9 teeth? He’s been in the league a while lol
  7. I swear Kakko has had the longest flu I’ve ever seen in a pro hockey player lol
  8. Still disagree. Haley literally was never scaring anyone into changing their game. Very few do that these days. However, Boyle actually would have improved the bottom six and specifically the 4th line immensely. Just my opinion though but it’s a moot point right now.
  9. I couldn’t disagree more but I’ve been pretty transparent on my stance of Boyle. Face off guy, actual leadership, perfect 4th line center, pk killer, cheap, has trade value down the line. It’s irrelevant though at this point.
  10. He was a pointless signing in the first place.
  11. Technically they were a bounce or two, or two field goals, away from this being a great game
  12. I think both the team and Lias expect more than that lol. I think we can all agree that they didn’t draft him thinking they have a top flight inexpensive 4th liner.
  13. Well I never said every player is going to be a superstar. Didn’t say that at all. Just saying, 7th overall, I’m assuming the Rangers are looking for an impact player, not a 4th liner. Does he need to be traded? Nope. Not at all. However the longer he toils, the less chance he has to be anything but a 4th liner and from what I remember, they drafted Lias hoping he would be a Drury type two way player with an impact on his team. He’s awfully young though right now so there still is time
  14. Lias looks more like a plugger than a playmaker, a grunt rather than a goal scorer, and an average rather than elite talent. Doesn’t mean he’s not an NHLer but the longer he goes down this path as a player, the lower his value is and more cemented of his nhl role becomes.
  15. Now two things wouldn’t have happened today if we signed Brian Boyle :)
