I still really wish we had given Bri Boyle a PTO and signed him as our 4th line center for 1m instead of bringing in a guy like Haley or Mckegg. Would have been a good fit and probably would have given us some return trade deadline if we really are out of it.

All anyone had to see from Chytil to know his “readiness” was that frustrating hooking penalty in the 3rd or whatever they called it. He has talent but he has issues. The difference between him and say, a Strome, is that while they both have issues and flaws, Strome has previously proved himself more than NHL capable. He’s 26 and already been a 50 pt player. At the very least he’s expendable in the way of playing him and if it doesn’t wok, so be it, trade, demote, ruin, whatever. That is not something a pimple faced child in Chytil should be exposed to unless absolutely necessary.

I think Andersson/strome end up 2nd line centers flopping depending on play. I think Krav makes the team too.

Agreed. He just seems to still be missing that xtra something. Plus to me he’s just not a center.

My god what a difference. Thank you for tonight. I know it’s preseason and grain of salt but still. It was far more of a complete game. Now a hopefully they carry some momentum to the regular season and start winning a few games a bit more easily. I really want this year to be a giant leap forward. Not saying contenders, but establish an identity and make us hard to play against competing for the playoffs.

More realistically do we continue our tradition of giving up a goal within the first minute of the game?

Maybe if ADA didn’t hold out before when he had zero leverage, he would have been ahead of Fox.......
