  1. Yeah, it doesn't have intake fans, so you wouldn't accumulate as much dust inside. With modern cases, good cable management, circulation, and filters help limit the dust though.
  2. For most people and uses, there's almost no reason to water cool except for it to look cool.
  3. Usually, this type of thing points to a player being a Bad Guy™, but he seems pretty chill so idk
  4. They had like 11 NHL defensemen in their organization and he just got odd-manned out. They went a little too HAM on the search for depth.
  5. He was considered to be a one-trick offensive defenseman and he barely played last season in Toronto after he got traded from Washington.
  6. Maybe, maybe not. I think more consideration needs to be given to a team like the Rangers with a highly-skilled PP that can score in a variety of ways. It's not as simple as assuming a regression to the mean. I agree on tightening up 5v5, but they basically only have one line going right now. I have faith in Zib turning it around.
  7. Like, I legit feel bad for the guy making only $800k this season. He got fleeced.
  8. I still think his skating is abominable, but he does appear better conditioned, so that's good.
  9. His second most used line combination last season was with Panarin and Trocheck (157 mins at 5v5 across 37 games) - the same line combination he's currently having success with. It's more than just playing with good players.
  10. The important thing is he looks like a different player. You notice him when he's on the ice, more often than not, whether he's getting on the scoresheet or not. Previously, you would hardly notice if he even played that night. He's actually doing things with the puck, not just dumping and chasing or cycling along the boards. This is exactly what Laf critics were talking about before and he has shown improvements in many facets of his game. If it was a confidence issue, he should have plenty of confidence going forward.
  11. The drop off here is so steep though. He still had 16g, 39a in 72 games last season. I thought 30 points was a reasonable mark for him, but he'd be lucky to get 15 at this rate.
  12. I don't think he achieves what they want with the 4th line though. Wheeler is not good defensively at all and, as we all know, he's super slow. Bonino is slow too, but at least he can win a faceoff.
  13. Not a prospects expert by any means, but he has 1g, 10a in 8 games with BC. I guess feeding Will Smith and Ryan Leonard has its perks.
  14. Hellyebuck is available for anyone interested in a goalie upgrade. Need D and/or winger.
  15. We saw it first hand. Reaves is only useful when he's hitting hard and punching faces when shit like this goes down. If he's not doing that, for whatever reason, he's completely useless - he's not good enough a player to warrant a roster spot if he's not doing his main job. Then he gets all bitchy when he gets scratched. The Leafs have been outscored 7-0 when he's on the ice. And, while he's not directly responsible, having a player who can't keep up physically and mentally creates voids/gaps good teams will exploit.
