I don't think he necessarily needs to turn heel (although he might now with what Kane is doing), he just needs to change his personality a bit. Get a little more pissed off and edgier like we've been seeing with Kane, instead of the goody-toe-shoes Cena we always get.

He can't unless he completely turns heel, this past Raw was him being edgier and he was still boring as fuck and big whoop,he beat Kane with the steel steps.A heel turn would work wonders for him.Done right it could be huge.

Anything other than this current Cena would work, imagine the heat he would get if he turns on the Rock and beats him/attacks him after they shake hands, and then the next night have him come out and turn on the fans. That or some huge swerve where he's in cahoots with VK or someone else.So much they could do and people would want to tune in to see a Heel Cena.

I do think something like that is probably going to happen. Either way, I think he's beating The Rock no matter what. But, there's no question there's going to be some kind of swerve to it with the way Cena is leaning towards now.

According to several TNA sources, Vince Russo is no longer a part of the TNA creative team, and former WWE creative team member Dave Lagana is now the new head of TNA creative. The previous head of creative had been Bruce Prichard, who as far as we have been told is still working with TNA.

Dave Lagana had formerly been working with TNA on the new Ring Ka King promotion in India. More on this developing story as it becomes available.

More Details on the TNA, Vince Russo and Dave Lagana Reports

By Marc Middleton

Feb 12, 2012 - 6:44:02 PM

- In regards to reports going around, Dave Lagana is not replacing Vince Russo as the head of TNA Creative. Lagana is at tonight's Against All Odds pay-per-view to help out, according to one top source within TNA. Lagana was hired by TNA to work on Ring Ka King and other projects, not the Impact brand but is at the pay-per-view tonight helping with backstage segments.

Russo is not at the pay-per-view tonight and while some believe he is gone, nothing has been announced to the TNA roster or staff yet.

The head of TNA creative remains Bruce Prichard. Russo and Matt Conway have been writing scripts for Impact in recent months with those scripts going to Prichard for tinkering and then Eric Bischoff for his own feedback in production meetings at TV tapings or pay-per-views.

Apparently Russo is out, but Lagana is not in (yet).
