QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

[table=width: 630, align: center]

[tr]

[td=align: center]

"They made it hard for us and we were maybe a little bit too stubborn with the puck and our decisions. We were trying to force plays a little too much and didn’t really get a consistent forecheck or pucks to the net. They fed off of that. They’re a good team. We were a little bit too stubborn today."

Georgiev has played some of his best games against the Islanders, but he also hasn't played in quite awhile too. So, I'm kind of interested to see how he does. By interested, I mean terrified.

They're gonna get slaughtered, lol.

You're not alone in this one though, man!

  • Isles make a big trade
  • Georgiev in goal
  • Back to Back nights
  • Covid shots for the entire team 2 days ago
  • Rip Van Winkle has been silent for weeks

Sounds like the formula for success, no?

In keeping with this seasons traditions the Rangers win this one by three goals and make themselves look like contenders. Then the second game vs. the horse face Islanders ( that's why their home will be Belmont) they will completely shit the bed with a terrible effort. Welcome to Rangerstown.

Rangers win 4-1
