Team is lousy, 5 goals, shit defense and a fucking coach that can’t make in game adjustments and make one mistake which gives him a bug up his ass. So based on the Quinn theory Panarin and Kinkaid benched next game

Quinn's adjustments come in the 1st period when the team gets scored on in the first 6 minutes. He moves the young kids off their lines, and that's it. That's the adjustment.

The powerplay absolutely sucks yet it looks the same every single game. It's crazy.

Lafreniere looks like he has absolutely no confidence out there. Thrown out in OT against Giroux. Pretty lame coaching.

Without Panarin this is 4-1 loss. They can't create anything unless it's on the rush. There's a systemic problem here.

It's also a roster problem. This team isn't built to forecheck, it's built to transition.

They had control of the puck almost the entire OT, that’s dominating. Yea they should have shot the puck, but they had Philly’s players out here for almost 3 minutes straight without a change.

Sure... and they lost even against dead tired players. They did a lot of circling. Didn't take a single shot or open up a single lane. This team can ONLY score on the rush.

I don't buy that. There are guys on the roster - at least one on each line tonight - who are good on the forecheck and yet the Rangers always stay high. One player retrieves the puck. The others stay high and hope he wins it. I've seen Kreider waiting up by the blueline in forecheck situations in each of the last three games. And we all know that's not how Kreider plays the game.

We really need a NHL coach. Rangers new slogan "Can't win with Quinn" These kids will never develop under him and the team is helter skelter

In all fairness, that's the sign of a team not built to fore check. One player makes not a fore check. They can't all be Hagelin. Most Hagelin's aren't very good/effective.

They're designed to play a rush game. Same as the Leafs were, who addressed it wholesale this summer and brought in Simmonds, Vesey, Bogosian, and Brodie. If the Rangers want different results, changing the coach probably isn't the only personnel decision they'll need to make.
